Beijing Film Academy organized a conference and a small workshop where two speakers were invited: Salar Shahna, WVRF’s CEO and Andy Niu, Chairman of Z-Park Creative Culture & Game Industry Development Alliance, on November 23, 2017.
The Beijing Film Academy is a prestigious film university in Beijing. Shahna’s mission was to give a good outlook on what is happening with Virtual Reality and how it could be implemented in the framework of a film university. Shahna’s and Niu’s audience consisted of teachers, academics and students who attended their 90-minute speech where they covered many aspects of cinematic VR.
“We saw a lot of enthusiasm for VR and recently we found out that JAUNT China is now also working with Beijing Film Academy,” stated Shahna.
Overall, according to Shahna, this prestigious university has a great potential from becoming a strong hub for training young filmmakers to become VR adapters.
