VR Games Work Their Magic at WVRF’s Second Edition

To the gamers’ delight, a Game Zone was installed by Geneva Gaming Convention (GGC) consisting of three HTC Vive sets, two PlayStations as well as several Samsung Gear VR sets at the second edition of World VR Forum’s Annual Summit, on the underground -3 floor of Le Regent Congress Center, in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, 11 – 14 May, 2017.

Visitors enjoyed archery in The Lab, trying to save a man with an axe in the Surgeon Simulator, creating a strange world under the gaze of a giant with Quantum Creator, the bottom of the ocean with VR Worlds and conquering the space with Anshar Wars 2. With the help of Geneva Gaming Convention (GGC) the atmosphere was great.

Many children opened their eyes wide in front of all these machines dedicated to the best VR games of the year. A class of Le Regent Crans-Montana College also came to test them, proving that children get hooked fast on the fantastic gaming universes.

Although shooting games such as Space Pirate Trainer, StarBlood Arena or Anshar Wars 2 were the most requested, we had games of all flavours in our selection, from the friendly games with Rec Room or The Lab, to the delirious humorous ones with Surgeon Simulator, Accounting or Rick and Morty, and more creative games such as Quantum Creator, a game from a Romanian developer, not yet available to the general public.

From Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th, the Game Zone was always full of people testing our latest releases. Thanks to the amazing GGC team, the Game Zone was a real success and promises beautiful things for next year!
