France has been home of cutting-edge productions with help of players such as ARTE & CNC. At WVRF16, 2 successful Parisian studios with 2 different styles OKIO studio and Agat Films.

Okio Studio, Paris

In January 2014, Antoine Cayrol & Pierre Zandrowicz (FatCat Films, Premiere Heure Group) and Lorenzo Benedetti (Studio Bagel Productions, Canal + Group) decide to partner up to create OKIO-STUDIO, a structure specialized in the production of video content for virtual reality. Linking their experiences as directors and producers specialized in the production of interactive videos for the digital universe, OKIO has produced commercial VR work such as the latest ad for Jean-Paul Gaultier or narrative like I-PHILIP, selected at our Immersive Festival.

Arnaud Colinard, Agat Films

Arnaud Colinart is a Producer at AGAT Films & Cie / EX NIHILO. He is particularly interested in applying new technologies and interactive mechanisms in the conception of narrative works, whether documentary or fiction. His productions include the video game Type:Rider (Appstore Editor’s Choice, SXSW 2014 Gaming Award Nominee, Webby Award Nominee – Best Mobile Game, Best Visual Design), the transmedia experience ‘Hubot Market’ and ‘Atsugi Robotics’ for the Swedish TV series ‘Real Humans’ and recently the graphic tribute to the TV series Peaky Blinders by the American designer Nigel Evans Dennis ( Lovie Award 2015 – TV Category & People Lovie Award 2015). His VR project Notes on Blindess will presented at our Festival in an unseen installation allowing maximum immersion.
